Server called me and asked what i wanted to order when i was late 😂

Great food I LIKED this bar a lot but one girl makes me not want to go back she barked at us for not giving a tip. Yes we should have from the get but no where does it say anyone has to leave a tip and then bark at us and tell us next time we should and if not we shouldn't come back the man she did that to did not deserve it and I for one will not go back

Anne our waitress was very good. pizza good.

Food and servers were very good. Main problem was that customers ( Cedar locals) were coming in without face masks on and no employees spoke to them about that. Locals walking in and out without face masks walking all through the place with their masks in their pockets and laughing about it. Again no employees addressed issue. After frequenting the business for over 20 years we WILL NOT RETURN!!

Great local bar, service was awesome as well as the drinks. My daughter asked for a drink with coconut rum and they whipped up a wonderful drink for her. It was so good her fiancee pushed the one he ordered to my husband and ordered the rum drink as well. We didnt eat, but will be back the menu has some unique entrees you dont see at every restaurant. It was really clean and that is always a plus for me. Definitely recommend this place.

Stopped for a beer and had an excellent dinner. I had the French Dip and my friend had a club sandwich. We agreed that the sandwiches were great as were the french fries. Beer was served promptly and was at the perfect temperature on a humid August evening. Don't assume this place is only for drinks; much better food here than some local restaurants.

Great burgers on pretzel bread. Chicken fingers had a good seasoned breading and were juicy. Great place to eat.

Just sit back, have a drink, and enjoy conversation. If you expect fast meals, not going to happen. When food does arrive, it's worth the wait. Slow the fast-paced lifestyle down and experience Cedar Tavern.

Great small town tavern. Rustic cozy atmosphere, drinks to satisfy most everyone, friendly service and good bar food too.

Waited 30 minutes without being acknowledged.Two servers were there, both avoided our table. There were several empty tables. It wasn't overly crowded, no acceptable reason.I did send a message to the Facebook page and was contacted immediately with an apology.

This is the place to be on Tuesday. Awesome is the only thing I can say. Just had the Friday night fish special. The cod and perch are to die for. Forget the fries. Eat the all you can eat fish and I creamy cold slaw !!! Awesome !

Outgoing, friendly staff (some are easy on the eyes as well which doesn't hurt!) Awesome pub food, clean and updated facilities, all of which make this a place worth being a patron of! If you find yourself in Cedar, stop in for a philly or an incredible burger....you wont regret it.

Went here twice because I heard about good food. 1st time. Sat at table. Waited 30 minutes with no service. So we more to the bar. Waited another 15 minutes and walked out. 2nd time we ordered ahead for take out. Walked in to get our food. Waited 20 minutes without any service. All this was happening while they served everyone else around us. Had to have a local get there attention. Pizza was cold. I've been in the industry for 20 yrs. I would fire every one of the bar staff except the kitchen help. Won't be spending money in that dump again

Good atmosphere and food.

Edit: Dropped my review from three stars to two. The last two times I have been here I noticed that their water has a strong sulfur/rotten egg smell. It is so bad that you smell it in their pop and taste it in your carbonation burps. It makes the meal fairly unenjoyable when you cannot enjoy your soda. I would be happy to drink beer instead, but I stick to pop if I am here on a lunch break. Food is edible but probably a little more expensive than it needs to be. That is not to say it is expensive...just not necessarily worth what they charge for it. The service is generally fair- not amazing, not poor.

Friendly staff, good service, food was good. Hubby had all you can eat perch and I had 7" pizza. Both were good. Bathrooms clean. Parking mostly on street, but was not a problem. There is plenty of room for large groups as they just slide tables together. Very accommodating! Tables for large groups can be reserved.

Always a great time here. The food is wonderful and the beer is cold.

Nice place with good food. Took nearly an hour for food but the place was very busy. Asked for napkins and silverware but never got them. Went there with a large group of friends and co workers after going on the Platte river. Everyone loved their food.

The best place in the heart of Leelanau County!

Their Friday night fish fry is not to be missed. So good!!

Tuesday taco night, perfect

The food was delicious. The waitress was attentive. There were a few extra flies in the bar, but it is that time of the year.

Very cool place to stop and grab something to eat. Great service, friendly folks, and you can't beat the price. Burritos, and burgers are delicious.
